Short Biography and Bibliography

Mohammad Modirzadeh, born in 1967, is an Iranian artist with 32 years of experience, best known for his contemporary semi-abstract watercolor and acrylic painting creations. This artist has had various international solo and group exhibitions as listed below. Destruction of the nature, negative aspects of advanced technologies and other social themes are reflected in Mohammad’s works.

The world renown Iranian artist, Aydin Aghdashloo, in a critique of Mohamad’s work quotes: “I have known Mohammad Modirzadeh for many years and I have followed his admirable life and work. He is a brilliant model of those artists who preferred exploring his homeland and his people to getting internationalized and immigrated back from Canada to Iran. For this reason, he founded his own institute and workshops in Iran. He has tested different mental concepts during these years to present his conceptual world, as a result, he has obtained the necessary proficiency and skill to visualize his ideas. I have seen and been delighted by the result of his new works, every time and every year”.
